Ingredients
1/2 cup sabudana/sago
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup fresh curd
1/2 cup roasted peanuts(crushed)
salt and sugar to taste
Tempering
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 green chili(chopped)
Garnishing
Potato sali
Method
- Dry roast sabudana for a minute or two.Wash it and soak in buttermilk for 10-15 minutes
- Heat ghee in an iron ladle and add cumin seeds,as they sizzle add green chilies. Pour it on soaked sabudana
- Add crushed peanuts,salt and sugar. Mix well. Add curd and mix again.
- Serve with batata salli on the top.
Note
Instead of tempering you can crush cumin seeds and green chili with roasted peanuts and add it in the soaked sabudana. Mix in little ghee.
